Pada 2 Oktober 2009, Unit Kimia telah menjalankan aktiviti lawatan sambil belajar ke Petronas Methanol, Labuan. Methanol adalah salah satu bahan kimia organik yang penting dalam pelbagai proses pembuatan dalam industri.

En. Muhyidin, selaku penceramah banyak berkongsi pengetahuan beliau kepada pelajar mengenai apa itu metanol, peluang pekerjaan di Petronas Methanol, kursus-kursus yang boleh diambil di universiti yang berkaitan dengan metanol dan pelbagai lagi maklumat.

Matter is the first chapter that you are going to learn in matriculation college for the Chemistry subject.

Hey everyone! So lately the physic’s unit lecturer keeps on asking me about the chemistry unit blog -_- ….So i was like…hurm..maybe we should do it since blogging is very popular among the students now..n maybe through blogging, chemistry’s unit lecturer can be in touch with the students all the time..since its obvious that most students prefer their beloved dorm than coming to the MP (2nd floor)…-_-

By now im sure most of the students aware that matriculation’s life is challenging. Time past very fast here and those who cant manage their time properly usually left behind and regrets later. Lets talk about the examination day, how many days left, how many hours left n how far did u actually prepare for it…You become depressed because you know better, You get angry with yourself because you can’t believe how much time u have wasted. You get paranoid about what people will think if u score a bad pointer. You get emotional because u cant seems to do most of the questions uve tried to do (if there is any) and when the time has come, u will try to make excuses or blame your lecturers for not teaching u well, so that you wont feel bad for yourself. Now, is that a right thing to do?

As what your parents nag u before, your future is in your hands..your lecturer can force you…they can scold you but in the end…its up to you, whether to make it much more better..or plain…You are the master of yourself, if u keeps on telling yourself u cant do it…then u cant do it..if u tell yourself that you are homesick, the next thing you’l do is pack your things and started counting for the weekends..But if u push yourself a lil bit, n start to concentrate on what your brain are capable to do ( trust me, if u set a goal in your mind n determine to do it, u can do it), u will leave this college with a smile on your face next year!
