English Language Unit Launches Innovative English Programme to Nurture Creative, Tech-Savvy Students.

The English Language Unit has concluded a groundbreaking five-day programme designed to transform English language learning through creative arts and digital media. "English Odyssey: Journey Through Language," held from 19-23 January 2026, engaged students through four interactive challenges: Treasure Hunt 2.0, a TikTok Challenge, "A Picture Tells A Thousand Words" visual storytelling competition, and a movie trailer creation contest.

This programme combined creative writing, script writing, video production, and performing arts with multimedia and social media to make English learning genuinely engaging for today's students. The initiative directly supports the national education system's goal of developing well-rounded graduates who are creative, critical thinkers while maintaining balance across physical, emotional, moral, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions.

The Head Department of Sastera Ikhtisas & Sains Sosial , Mr Ridzuan bin Kasim, presented awards to winning participants during the closing ceremony on 6th February 2026, highlighting the collaborative effort between college management, lecturers, and students that made the programme possible.
